Application Developer – Office of MN Atterney General (full time)

APPLICATION DEVELOPER

The Office of the Minnesota Attorney General is accepting resumes for an Application Developer. In this position, you have the opportunity to be part of an office that makes a difference every day in the lives of Minnesota citizens.

Responsibilities: You will join a dedicated group of IT professionals that work to support all system applications used by the Office. In this unique position, you will meet with members of the Office to determine application needs, design and implement the application to fit the needs, and support the application going forward. This position allows you to work with a wide variety of database languages including Microsoft VBA, Access, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Office Products integration, T-SQL, .Net, HTML and JavaScript.

Requirements: Applicants must have a thorough understanding of Microsoft VBA, Access, Microsoft, SGL, Microsoft Office Products integration, and database design, including normalization and optimization. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with at least two years’ related experience is preferred, including Microsoft VBA development and support.
