The Supply Chain Systems team has an exciting opportunity for an entry / junior level ERP Software Engineer to work on leading edge technologies and applications. This individual will translate business requirements to technical software designs, develop, test and implement business application solutions using variety of tools and technologies. The scope of the applications and solutions will vary in size and complexity from department level to enterprise wide, and may be internally focused within Andersen Corporation or externally focused to support a variety of customer channels
·                  Responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment and documentation of applications
·                  Work closely with business customers to understand, define and document business requirements, functional requirements and design requirements
·                  Work closely with process owners and analysts in the design phase to leverage technology to support business process improvements
·                  Design, development and testing methods and techniques must meet corporate IT standards as well as industry best practices
·                  Work with IT infrastructure staff and PMO staff to ensure the successful delivery of the application
·                  Support Andersen’s architecture efforts by following and adhering to the standards set forth by the architecture group and devising consistent solutions to maintain the integrity of application architecture
·                  Accurately estimate the design, development, testing and deployment of the application
·                  Act as change owner in a cross functional team to coordinate the design, development, testing and deployment of the solution
·                  Completes comprehensive unit and system testing of application, its components and interfaces
·                  Support and maintain applications from a customer and technology perspective
·                  Support other application developers in technical issues and assisting with their development efforts
·                  Research and develop skills in new technologies
·                  Successfully provide direction and oversight to contracted external development vendors
·                  Provide technical and user application documentation
·                  Provide user training as required
·                  Support and leverage Andersen Management systems for continuous improvement
·                  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
·                  Up to 3 years of development experience with a limited number of application development languages
·                  Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
·                  Work with Sr. Software Engineer and management to communicate knowledge, ideas and opinions
·                  Able to manage and prioritize tasks and projects
·                  Strong problem solving skills and able to generate creative solutions
·                  Strong focus on customer service and goes the extra mile to ensure a positive customer experience
