Job Description:

Job Summary:
An intern (typical 10-12 week, full-time schedule assignment) position is a temporary assignment with 3M’s Corporate Student Programs. Corporate Student Programs is designed to provide 3M with the opportunity to identify qualified candidates for regular employment, and to provide students with the opportunity to integrate their academic knowledge with work experience. As a Student Programs participant located in Maplewood, MN you will develop skills, and gain work experience in your field of study.

This position is an internship assignment for the Automated Inspection and Measurement (AIM) group within the Film Manufacturing & Supply Chain Operations Division. This group is responsible for fundamental technology development, application investigations, system integration, technology deployment, and system support across many 3M divisions in the areas of automated inspection, measurement, and process data systems. The person hired for this position will be responsible for helping develop a wide range of software tools in support of AIM technology.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Gathering software requirements
* Learning and utilizing basic software standards
* Developing project plans
* Integrating feedback from code reviews
* Reporting progress and results

This position is limited to working 899 hours per service credit year.
