|Corporate encompasses the core operational support for all Land O’Lakes businesses. It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Market Strategy and Communications, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Public Affairs.|
The position is within the Information Technology application delivery and support function. The primary purpose is to provide application design, development, and support for business applications. Position will perform business analysis and design, work with relevant technologies, configure and develop systems to meet business requirements, interacting regularly with business customers. Activities include:
Gather and understand business and project requirements
Research, investigate, evaluate and assist in the process of providing application solutions that facilitate the delivery of application functionality to business users.
The potential business application areas include, but are not limited to, Finance and Accounting, Distribution, Manufacturing and Marketing.
Currently in pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or relevant field at a Junior level or higher, carrying a 3.0 GPA or above.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work on cross functional teams.
Understanding of software and application design, development and project management principles.
Aptitude for technology and business process experience desirable.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with customer service focus.
Requirements gathering, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Desire to work in a fast paced collaborative work environment leveraging technology to solve business problems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
