Our interns will be responsible for project scope, timeframe, cost, and delivery of assigned application projects. You will be responsible for addressing issues, mitigating risks, and communicating status to IT management and other impacted projects teams. Projects will vary in size and complexity. You may also be involved in leading initiatives that analyze business and technology decisions, writing and executing test scripts, producing technical documents, troubleshooting problems and more.

Our Interns get a slice of the real world work environment at C.H. Robinson. Also, our interns will develop contacts and networks across other IT functions and will get involved with an example of the following activities: Volunteer Opportunities; Alumni Connections Lunch; End of Internship Presentation; and other activities as planned.

Required Qualifications

Excellent organizational, leadership, facilitation, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Proactive, accountable, autonomous, and solutions oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
SQL Server knowledge
Dependability, maturity, and flexibility — team-player focus
The ability to work with others as a group and/or independently
Knowledge of infrastructure design, implementation, documentation, and support

Required Education

All interns must have completed at least two or three years toward an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Information Management or related technical field, or be working toward a graduate degree.
