LSS Data Systems – Programmer Analyst

Job Purpose:
To meet LSS customers’ short-term programming needs. Focus on problem solving for a variety of technical customer issues. Serve as technical resource for the implementation and service divisions to foster a positive relationship with our customers.

Responsibilities:
· Research software problems and implement solutions
· Code, test, and deliver software patches, as needed
· Code, test, and deliver mandated regulatory enhancements
· Handle all aspects of customer software updates
· Provide custom programming as requested by customers
· Set up databases for customers and internal departments
· Set up MEDITECH integration options for customers and internal departments
· Provide customer support for the Customer Report Writer
· Other duties assigned by supervisor
· Limited travel may be required

Qualifications:
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
· Programming aptitude
· Familiarity with at least two programming languages
· Effective customer service skills
· Strong aptitude for math
· Ability to learn complex software applications
· Professionalism
· Effective time and project management skills
· Enjoy a fast-paced working environment
· Ability to multi-task
· Willingness to be a team player and positive attitude
· Interest in the healthcare and technology industries
· Attention to detail
· Strong problem solving skills

Education/Experience:
· Four year college degree in math or computer science related field
