General Purpose:

Diagnoses and resolves problems with desktop/laptop hardware and software, printers, and peripheral equipment.
Installs desktop/laptop hardware and software (initial/upgrades) and related peripheral equipment in accordance with department standards.
Trains users in desktop hardware and software.
Recommends purchases, upgrades, and changes to desktop/laptop hardware and software, and related peripherals.
Participates in development of standards for desktop software to meet user’s needs.
Automates processes using scripting software.
Assist in automation of processes by using virtualization, gpos, scripts, and/or packaging software.Refer to ID 173239 when applying
