Job Description:
Title: Technology and Operations Services Summer Intern Location: Minnesota-Richfield US Bank’s Technology Operations Services (TOS) Division is searching for quality students to participate in a Summer Internship program. Through our student internship program, you’ll benefit from hands-on experience (via assignments & projects) to address “real world” business problems resulting in knowledge that will last you a lifetime. You’ll make valuable contacts and get the inside view of technology and operational services from an industry leader. Mentors are assigned to each intern for focused development to enhance your skills and achieve your career goals. This Internship program includes assisting with projects or initiatives supporting TOS organizations. Roles and projects will vary depending on location and the current needs of the business. At the guidance and direction of supervisor or senior technical staff, interns will participate in the support of operational and technical related activities (applications to infrastructure) in a learning mode. Placement is based upon your interests, skill set and business need. This is an 8-12 week full-time summer internship program. Basic Qualifications: * Applicants must be must be registered full-time College students in the process of completing an undergraduate or graduate degree. * Major Field of Study: Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, etc. * Candidates possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preferred Skills/ Experience: * Excellent written and verbal communication * Strong organizational and analytical skills * Strong problem solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment * Knowledge of IT Environment and Related Business Systems, IT Systems Design, and IT Systems Management, Implementation and Support (e.g. business, applications or infrastructure) a plus. * Exposure via related work or classroom experience to solving complex technical problems that may involve multiple technologies or systems (e.g. Internet services, desktop applications, operating system, networking, security systems, database, programming, etc) a plus
