The Nerdery has also made Top Workplace lists published by Minneapolis Star Tribune and Minnesota Monthly. The Nerdery partners with ad agencies, marketers and others with big ideas to help companies use interactive technology to do business, better. We also work with companies’ IT and operations staff to engineer web and mobile solutions that integrate business systems and automate workflow processes. The Nerdery was honored in 2010 with The Quality of Life Award and The Jefferson Award for our record of corporate philanthropy through The Nerdery Overnight Website Challenge, at which volunteers have so far donated a million dollars worth of web development services to 39 nonprofits. Qualifications: The Nerdery is looking for an iOS developer. This developer should have an application already in the App Store. We are looking for a developer that knows best practices in terms of memory management [release], using instruments, and how to use drawRect in tableviews effectively. Familiarity of iPad v iPhone v iPhone 4 displays and how to target all of them effectively is a must.

This candidate should be able to work in a team environment and be ready to learn and share their awesome skills with the rest of the team, be able to take a well-defined scope of work and see the project through to completion.


* Knowledge of Objective C
* Ability to use Instruments effectively
* Must have worked on an application that is in the market
* Knowledge of the app store submission process
* SQLite

Bonus Points:

* Photoshop slice-and-dice skills
* Core Data
* Be a guru at some other language
