This position will work with the global EDI team to design and deliver solutions for Seagate customers. Areas of responsibility include customer EDI engagement, recruitment, and education. Project estimation, tracking, and documentation. Coordination of efforts done in dispersed regions will be necessary. Extensive documentation and presentation development will be done, in a variety of formats including spreadsheets, Powerpoint, and wiki pages. Requires a high degree of organization and knowledge of tools to apply organization to projects and customer tracking. Successful candidate will have the ability to independently identify and track tasks. Strong communication skills, this position requires extensive internal and external customer contact. Preferred background in UNIX, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and the ability to create and edit wiki pages.
Knowledge of electronic data interchange and Rosettanet, business processes for just in time inventory, purchase orders, forecasts, and point of sale reporting would be helpful. Preferred candidate will have some working knowledge of Unix, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and the ability to create and edit wiki pages. Successful candidate will have the ability to independently identify and track tasks. Strong communication skills are sought, this position requires extensive internal and external customer contact. This position will act as a Seagate lead to the customer, extensive patience and comfort speaking with audiences of all levels is a must.
