Job Description:
The Business Analyst Intern is responsible for compiling requirements, creating proper documentation, testing functionality, analyzing and debugging issues with specific components of the Infinite Campus system. The analyst will work with Support Representatives, Client Executives, Developers, Technical Writers, Project Managers and Quality Assurance personnel to ensure that necessary requirements are accurately integrated into the product, functionally documented and adequately tested.

Job Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain positive relationships with Department of Education contacts, Channel Partner personnel and appropriate end users to gather correct and consistent requirements
• Create requirements documentation for specific state needs to be implemented in the Infinite Campus system
• Participate in the initial case-level testing of extracts and specific features
• Monitor specific users for changes and updates to requirements
• Confirm all reporting bugs and enhancements requested by support are valid and provide any missing information
• Research and test bugs, issues and enhancement requests for proper placement in the product
• Work in an iterative process with other Business Analysts, Support Representatives, Developers and Client Executives in creating proper changes to the product

Qualifications: Desired Background:
• Business administration or computer Science major
• Knowledge of technical documentation, and functional documentation
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, good organizational skills and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers
• Demonstrated troubleshooting ability and a willingness to assist in root cause analysis and the resolution of problems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task and time-slice between various competing projects or needs

Performance Expectations:
• Skilled user of Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
