*Job Description: We currently have an opening for a E-Discovery Sales Consultant (internally–Electronic Evidence Consultant (EEC). Kroll Ontrack seeks a motivated professional to support pre-sales initiatives with customers of Kroll Ontrack’s Legal Technologies Electronic Discovery business. The EEC works with customers, ranging from senior partners to IT staff at both large law firms and corporations to determine the technical details of electronic data and data systems, specifics and issues relating to the legal matter, required output formats, and critical project timeframes. They also coordinate with Kroll Ontrack internal teams on a project by project basis.

•Analyze, scope and price business opportunities in the Legal Technologies business unit
•Provide technical guidance in evaluating business opportunities
•Represent the Legal Technologies business as the key technical liaison between various stakeholders both internal and external
•Consult as needed with other internal teams including engineering, sales, and business development
•Provide technical consultation as needed with our clients
•Create and follow up on proposals and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders in closing business opportunities
•Ability to identify product and services opportunities and effectively articulate and sell Kroll Ontrack offerings to the client.
Qualifications: •Two-year degree in technical or business field, or equivalent work experience
•3-5+ years in a technical pre-sales or sales engineer position
•Demonstrated ability to scope, price, create proposals and deliver for technical projects is required.
•Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to management, potential clients and/or public groups
•Must have strong technical aptitude to include understanding of operating systems, networks, servers and storage media
•Knowledge of litigation support and sales experience strongly preferred
•Knowledge of legal industry or legal experience strongly preferred
•Must be self motivated, have strong confidence and a competitive nature
•Proven ability to quickly build a rapport with potential customers and partners over the phone, assess their needs, and effectively apply and communicate the benefits of solutions to fulfill their legal requirements.
•Must consistently sustain high activity levels, provide excellent customer service, and demonstrate problem solving attitude.
•Possess a keen and natural intuition about the goals, processes and perspectives of our customers.
•Proven ability to sell a product/service in a competitive environment.
•Proficiency in managing customer data in a contact management system (e.g., SalesLogix).
